An expedition into Kingdom life
A SoKM Expedition activates everyday people to partner with the Holy Spirit and live kingdom ministry as they go. In South Africa, we join what God is already doing through local churches, serve in communities, take risks, and practice ministry in the ordinary places life happens.
Partnering with Serve the Nations
This 2026 SoKM Expedition is joining the ministry of Serve the Nations, led by Brian Blount. Brian has been leading teams and ministering in South Africa since 2013. Together, Brian Blount and Daniel Goulet are leading this expedition as we serve local churches, equip believers, and minister throughout everyday life.
Why this expedition matters
South Africa has been one of the most activating ministry experiences of my life. These trips teach us to recognize what the Holy Spirit is doing and take compassionate risks in restaurants, workplaces, neighborhoods, and everyday life. My prayer is that our team returns not only with powerful stories, but with a deeper lifestyle of Kingdom ministry wherever we go.

Serving, equipping, and taking the Kingdom outside the walls
Serve the Local Church
We listen, encourage, and serve alongside pastors and leaders through conferences, training, activation, and ministry together.
Go Where People Live
Local churches lead us into informal settlements and community shopping areas to offer prayer with dignity, compassion, and expectation.
Minister As You Go
Airports, restaurants, malls, and safari stops become places to notice people, listen to the Holy Spirit, and respond with courage.
Love takes a risk
On one visit, the team prayed with approximately 25 restaurant staff members. As people received prayer, many experienced healing, gave their lives to Jesus, or found freedom from fear and demonic nightmares.
A simple yes can open the door for someone to encounter the real and present love of God.
We become a team as we go
Along the way, we experience the beauty of South Africa, share meals, go on safari, and build meaningful relationships with one another. Even in these moments, we stay attentive to what the Holy Spirit is doing and discover that Kingdom ministry can happen wherever we go.

The deepest fruit is not only what happens during the trip. It is who we become: activated to partner with the Holy Spirit, more compassionate toward people, and more willing to live kingdom ministry wherever we go.
