Initial Steps

Church-to-church partnership is a high value for us.

Each church that joins our network enters into a collaborative, working relationship with our team. The first step is completing the Network Application. This short application allows our team to review your church’s desires and needs, and discuss a future partnership with you.

Access to Resources + Training

SoKM’s primary goal is to produce the highest quality experience for every student in every location.

Once you’ve joined our network, we provide your leadership with a comprehensive Online Training System. This allows your leaders to train at a pace that works for them. Our support team will assist with any questions along the way. Once your team is fully trained, you’ll start preparations for your first class!

Launching Your Class

As you approach your class launch, our team will connect with your leaders frequently, offering guidance and additional resources through the start-up process.

We will help recruit students and troubleshoot logistics. After the first class, our team will stay in touch, offering assistance throughout the year regarding anything you might need.

FAQ's

I don’t believe the church we attend would be willing to host. Is it possible to host without being sponsored by our church?

Our aim is to make the School of Kingdom Ministry as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. However, our policy is to only work in partnership with a church. Our ultimate mission is to support and grow your local church to be a transformative presence in your area. With that in mind, we choose not to partner with individuals outside of a local church so as not to cause division. We want the best learning environments for our students, and we’ve found the best way to achieve this is through the local church.

Do the sessions start at specific times or can a church hop in when they want?

We start our classes every fall, and host churches use the latest version of the videos we produce when they start. You are free to launch your class whenever works best for your community.

How much time does the leader training take?

The leader training consists of 2-3 hours of online text and video content. In addition, leaders must spend several hours practicing the core activations and conducting power evangelism outings. It is very important for leaders to have personal experience with activations and power evangelism before they lead students in class. We recommend blocking out 2-3 hours a week for 4-6 weeks to conduct your training activities.

What is the difference between SoKM, Bethel, and Global training schools?

Our understanding is that while Bethel and Global can be hosted at your church, this was not their original design. Because of this, these schools rely heavily on teaching with less emphasis on Holy Spirit activation exercises or the connection to the local church.

SoKM was designed to easily plug into your local church’s set-up while helping to advance your local ministries. Our leader training allows you to engage with the Holy Spirit activation exercises with a live, trained person facilitating.

What is the class size requirement? We are a small church, but want to host SoKM.

We recommend 5+ students in order to create the community learning that occurs in this course. We ask each site to recruit 1 leader for every 5 students they expect to have in class.

How much is the network fee? What does it cover?

Our network fee is based on the size of the church. Price per congregation numbers: 1-99 = $375, 100-499 = $625, etc.

This is a one-time fee that covers the cost of the training and support of the location leaders.

As a host, what are my role and responsibilities?

Our goal is to empower you with the training and materials you need, and then allow you run the class yourself.

Each week, class will start with an hour long teaching video that we provide. The activation and practice portion of class is led live by your leadership team. All of the leadership, pastoring, and administration of the class are up to you and your team.
